Hotel Villa Cedrino

Beautiful hotel with great view over the lake. Friendly staff. Restaurant serves good food at a reasonable price. Heated pool is perfect to have a relaxing time. Room (first floor with lake-view) was large but bathroom (too) small. Bed was good and comfortable. Small improvement suggestions: support with heavy luggage especially to the first floor (stairs only), provide a detailed printed invoice when checking out (instead of a small summary) and finally, the hot tub / whirlpool on the roof are available for 40 euro's per couple per hour, that price is too high for most people and given the room price could be a bit more customer friendly.

Restaurant review: impressive view over the lake at sunset. We made a reservation over WhatsApp which was convenient. Service was attentive and friendly. A la carte and tasting menus available. We ordered a la carte. Food was fresh and delicious. We were sharing the tuna main (which was delicious) the chef served it in two plates conveniently already split. Live music performances on some nights. Free parking available.

We stayed here for 1 night, that was our big mistake… not to stay longer! What we enjoyed : - special welcome for my wife’s birthday - amazing view and swimming pool - superior bedroom with balcony : view from the room, good bed, well equipped - beautiful villa - dinner was really good - great service overhaul and staff very kind What could be better - music on the outside : it is playing a bit loud, OK for the ambiance but would have appreciate in that case a music more « Lounge » than « commercial hit club ». But this is really personal. - decoration of the room and inside commun areas is basic - check out at 10:30 is early, however we were spontaneously offered to stay by the swimming pool after checkout if we wanted to. But we have been a bit disturbed by early cleaning of the bedrooms. Still, it deserves the 5 stars review cause it’s great value for money. And the view… OMG.
